Terms and Conditions

Ordering Goods

Before ordering products from HOOPLOVERS or it's affiliates please read and understand the terms and conditions.

All prices are in Australian Dollars. We will try to maintain the price as advertised but we reserve the right to change before you place an order. Product prices are offered with or without delivery cost. Delivery charges are based on local post office quotes and may change without notice.

Under normal conditions goods are dispatched within 5 days of your order being placed. You will be advised of any delay or if any of your ordered items are not available. Deliveries will not take longer than 28 days however generally arrive within 3-5 days.

In the unlikely event that your goods are lost or damaged in transit please contact us as soon as possible. We will arrange with you to replace or repair the goods as quickly as possible.
We maintain stock of hoops but we are at the whim of our suppliers, so unfortunately all of our products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled we will contact you and you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund.

Purchasing E-Goods ( Video Lessons, PDFs )

Please note that we have a different shopping cart system for E-goods products (Videos, PDFs) to our regular shopping cart system therefore you will be asked to pay separately when you purchase the E-goods and the class tickets/hoops/accessories.

Please note that it is prohibited you resell our videos. All the contents we sell or provide are copyrighted to HOOPLOVERS.

Please ensure that you seek professional medical advice before undertaking any HOOPLOVERS downloadable classes or tutorials. Particularly if you have not undertaken exercise for a long time or if you have any certain about your health and fitness. HOOPLOVERS is not responsible for any injury or damage caused by following the videos.

By purchasing any of the HOOPLOVERS videos and downloadable content you agree to the terms and conditions stated above.

Forms of payment accepted

We accept the following forms of payment:

1. PayPal – for PayPal account holders. Check the PayPal payment option in the checkout process.

2. Bank Transfer - cash to be tranferred to our bank account.

3. Money order - can be arranged at your local post office.
For alternative forms of payment please contact us directly to discuss details.

Order processing, delivery times & charges

1. We post to residents in Australia only.

2. Delivery postal charges depend on the weight of the product however we charge $5 per hoop for regular postage and handling. If you wish to have the postage of your hula hoop insured please select the insurance option.

3. Orders are usually dispatched within 5 working days of placement via Australia Post.

4. We will not be held liable for any costs or inconvenience caused by late deliveries. We can't take responsibility for goods being lost by Australia Post through regular post.

5. Orders can be picked up from the HOOPLOVERS office in Brunswick East for free. Please contact deannelove@hooplovers.com to arrange pick up date and time.

Cancellations, returns & refunds

If you wish to cancel an order please contact us, and have your order details ready.
If the order has not yet been shipped and you have already made payment, we will refund you the purchase price.

If the order has been shipped then you must return the unwanted products to us unused and in their original packaging at your risk and cost within 7 days of delivery, and we will credit your account with the price of the unwanted product. We will not refund the postage costs.

We reserve the right to refuse returns or to charge you for our reasonable cost if the product is received by us in a state other than the state in which it was when leaving the HOOPLOVERS office.

Returns of damaged, defective or incorrect items

In the unlikely event of receiving damaged, defective or incorrect items notify us immediately and e-mail us a clear picture of the item in question as initial proof of your claim.

Once we validate your claim we will either refund you full costs of the transaction or send a replacement.

We might ask you to send the item back to us on mutually agreed terms.

Should the item in question be returned and we will not find any fault with it, we reserve the right to refund you the items price only.

Exchange

Should you wish to exchange your order after purchase and shipping please contact us with your request.

Products
We try to ensure that the products are the same as our original samples, although sometimes there are minor differences. Items are described and photographed as accurately as possible, but please note that sizes, colours and designs may vary.

All hoops are made with 20mm or 16mm poly pipe taped with high quality tapes. All hoops sizes are approximate.
Change to legal notices

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time, and so you should review them whenever using the site.

None of the above 'terms and conditions' affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Privacy policy

We are committed to protecting your personal privacy and we uphold strict security procedures for the storage of your personal information.

When you place an order we collect your name, e-mail address, mailing address and phone number information.

This information is used to process orders only. We might use it to contact you for marketing purposes.

We don’t collect or have access to your credit card data. The credit card handling is done directly by PayPal and not disclosed to us.
We don’t share your personal information with any third parties.
